Rocketship Ready Family Reading Nights
Rocketship Education DC is a network of Public Charter Elementary Schools that will be opening its Washington, DC campus in August 2016. Every other Wednesday we host Family Reading Nights at the Anacostia Library where we read a book to families and children and participate in arts & crafts sponsored by Project Create DC. Each week we offer refreshments, giveaways, and raffle a Giant Food Gift Card. Once a month we have a guest author come out to read their published work and give away autographed copies.
